In episode 45 of his newest production, “Tucker on X,” host Tucker Carlson interviewed U.S. Representative Thomas Massie (R-KY-04) who is against sending more aid money to Ukraine in the country’s fight against Russia.
Ep. 45 How could Washington possibly send tens of billions more to sleazy oligarchs in Ukraine now that the whole enterprise has been revealed as a fruitless, corrupt and incredibly destructive disaster? Because that’s what they always do. pic.twitter.com/Cn6SMHcqcr

Kicking off the 19-minute episode, Carlson said the Biden administration and the U.S. Congress will not accept the responsibility for the fact that the U.S. is “measurably weaker” for its support of Ukraine over the past two years in the country’s fight against Putin.
“We were told at the beginning that our support would allow Ukraine to beat Russia and keep Russia from invading the rest of Europe or something. Well, almost two years in, none of that turned out to be true. Ukraine is not going to beat Russia. The only person who’s been beaten in this is the United States,” Carlson said.
Pivoting to the new $60 billion aid package the White House wants Congress to pass for Ukraine, Carlson introduced Massie, who said he will vote against it because the U.S. “cannot afford it.”
“Look, at some point I realized that we have spent more in Ukraine than we spend on all of our roads and bridges in the United States. I tweeted that and Newsweek did a fact check on me, and what they found out was it was true,” Massie, who was wearing a device on his suit blazer that displayed the U.S. national debt in real time, said.
“To support this money, you have to be economically illiterate and morally deficient,” Massie added, saying his vote against the aid package is that of a friend to Americans instead of, as the White House says, a vote for Putin.
As of press time, the latest installment of Carlson’s video podcast, posted at 4:23 p.m. Central Standard Time on Tuesday by @TuckerCarlson, had over 1 million views.
